Aloe Blacc has claimed that the "misogyny of artists such as" 50 Cent turn back on rapping.

The singer said that his latest album 'Good Thing' he wanted to "tell a different story" after growing tired of there being "too much opulence [and] braggadocio" in hip-hop.

Speaking to the Independent On Sunday, Blacc commented: "Artists like 50 Cent (pictured below right) made me stop rapping.

"What happened is that the music got corporatised. Industry executives sacrificed art for what sells and mega-stars now saturate the market with the same tired lyrics."

Blacc also discuss al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden's death previous month that a party was not a cause reactions in the U.S. talked about.

He remarked, "We need to recognise that a human being had been killed".

"The families of the people who died in 9/11 may have felt that justice was done, but it's still a life, and we need to take the moment to mourn all the deaths, not just the 3,000 or so US citizens but the 10,000 or so in the Middle East who are dying for whatever reason it is that America is still in Afghanistan."

They are due to reveal at Trafford Magistrates' Court on Friday April 8.

UK tour-tickets announced by Subways

Details of a UK tour, set to take place in June have been announced by The Subways.

Deadmau5 Confirmed London Show

Details of a massive headline show has been announced by Deadmau5 at London’s Victoria Park in June.

Fifth album ‘4x4=12’ has been released by Canadian DJ in December, will play the gig on June 11 in conjunction with the LED Festival.

LED is the only festival appearance he will performing in UK and also the first UK outdoor show.

Deadmau5 will be joined a selection of support acts, who will be revealed over the coming weeks.

Iron Maiden might have criticised the haughty powers of governments in some of their classic ‘80s hits such as 2 Minutes To Midnight, but this week, the heavy metal myths have declared that they are backing a recent crusade by a UK MP.

BBC News is reporting that Sharon Hodgson has mounted a crusade alongside ticket touts, gaining support from both Maiden and Sheffield’s Arctic Monkeys in the procedure.

The MP for Washington and Sunderland West has drafted a Private Member’s Bill that will place a scheme of fines system of fines for anyone caught selling a ticket at more than 110% of its face value. In a statement on her website, Hodgson notes.

"The fact of the matter is that a few people are making large amounts of money by exploiting the hard work of people involved in the live entertainment industry and the passion of fans, whilst causal nothing to either."

LCD Soundsystem Smashed Ticket Touts on Twitter

On touts selling overpriced tickets for LCD Soundsystem last ever gig,they have launched a scathing attack.

The band, who have seemingly been winding down their career -- or their live career, at least -- play their final show together at Madison Square Garden on April 2.


But, as Gigwise reports, touts have apparently already been listing tickets for sale -- some priced at $1,500 (£934) -- and LCD Soundsystem have taken to Twitter to express their outrage.

They label the touts as "parasites" and admit it is "not worth that kind of money to see us."

They said: "1500 for a single ticket? F--- you, scalpers. You are parasites. I HATE you."

"I will try to figure a way out to f--- these f---ers. NO MATTER WHAT WE DO, IT IS NOT WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY TO SEE US!"

Ticket touts May face fines

If Tickets Tout sell tickets to concerts or sports events at more than 10 per cent above the official price,they will going to be charged up to £5,000 under new laws backed by a West Midlands MP.

The reason for major crack down is touts is revealed by Ian Austin (Lab Dudley North),who buy tickets in bulk and then sell them on at a massive markup.

But according to MP Sajid Javid (Con Bromsgrove) he believes that they are providing very valuable service to the public.

He urged MPs to support “the small man or the honest ticket tout who has bought their tickets legitimately and offers them for sale, making a profit for themselves, as opposed to the corporation making those profits”.

But Mr Javid insisted: “This is about people legitimately getting hold of tickets in an honest way, and not prohibiting them from trying to sell those tickets at a profit, whatever that profit might be.

“In fact, such activity is probably an excellent example of the enterprise culture and of what a classic entrepreneur does, as long as - I emphasise this point - they get the tickets legitimately.”
